	Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project Final EIR/EIS	<

The TRPA Governing Board unanimously approved the Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement project and unanimousy re-certified the project Environmental Impact Statement at a well-attended public meeting January 27 held on Lake Tahoe's North Shore.

The vote was a re-consideration of the Placer County project, which was denied approval in July 2008. The reconsideration looked at fresh information on a traffic control plan as well as vigorous dialogue with many supporters and critics of the project.

The project was previously approved by Placer County and Caltrans
